Police probe hate mail incident in Fife

Police are appealing for information following a report of a hate crime in Fife.

The incident happened around 6.30pm on Wednesday, April 27 at an address on Lomond Crescent, Dunfermline.

A letter was posted to a couple that contained racially offensive abuse.

Sergeant Neil McGurk said: “We’re appealing for anyone who has any information about this.

“Someone might have noticed a person delivering the letter around that time, or perhaps have other relevant information.”

Those with any information are asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
