Officers from the Fife Division of Police Scotland are appealing for a Good Samaritan who helped a woman on or near to Methilhaven Road, Methil about 1.00 p.m. on Thursday October 10, to contact them.

Chief Inspector Graeme Kinmond, from Levenmouth Police Station, said: “We are urgently seeking to contact the witness who gave a distressed woman a lift home to the Kirkland Gardens area in her car on Thursday 10th October 2013.

“My officers are trying to build an exact picture of her movements during that day and the witness who thankfully helped the woman home may be able to assist with our enquiries.

“I would urge this lady to contact the Police on 101 or through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
