Fife Constabulary is appealing for witnesses following an incident which took place around 11pm on Sunday 20 May 2012, at the Gunner’s Club in Kirkcaldy and also a second incident which took place on Main Street in Thornton shortly afterwards.
Detective Sergeant Alex Raeside, who is leading the enquiry, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to a disturbance which initially started at the Gunner’s Club in Kirkcaldy but then carried on to Main Street in Thornton.
“It is believed that the same people were involved in both incidents and we are following a positive line of enquiry.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area of the Gunner’s Club or Main Street in Thornton at the time, or anyone else who may have information concerning these incidents.”
