Police in Levenmouth have made another successful raid against drug dealers in the community.
Yesterday (Monday), local officers executed a warrant at an address in Den Walk, Buckhaven, and a large cannabis plant cultivation, worth around £7500, was recovered.
Sergeant Neil Johnson said: “This was professional attempt to cultivate cannabis plants but this latest police intervention has prevented a significant quantity of illegal drugs making its way on to our streets – and cost the dealer a significant loss in money terms.
“A male and female aged 35 and 30 have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Sgt Johnson added: “We will continue to target drug dealers in Levenmouth and, if you are involved in this illicit activity, you will get an unexpected visit from the police.
“Anyone who wishes report drug-related criminal offences in their area can contact police on 101 or, alternatively, through the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
