Detectives have been investigating following the incident that took place in Craigfoot Walk on Thursday, May 19 and as a result of these inquiries a 27-year-old man was subsequently identified.

It is believed this male is currently within the Republic of Ireland and Police Scotland is now liaising with Interpol, the Guarda and the Crown Office to trace and arrest him.

Detective Inspector Colin Robson from Fife’s Proactive Unit said: “Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this incident but I recognise the impact that this had on the local community and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their understanding and co-operation during the course of the investigation, which has now resulted in a male being reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
