Fife care home reveals expansion plans

Plans to extend a care home in Kirkcaldy have been submitted to Fife Council.

Carnegie Care Limited is seeking permission for a first floor extension to Elizabeth House on Boreland Road.

Paperwork logged with the local authority this week outline a proposal to build an extension about the existing single storey home which currently has 15 single rooms and one shared room.

The application includes alterations to roof and formation of retaining wall and landscaped area.

It will be considered in due course by councillors.
