Flats planned for popular Kirkcaldy street
Plans to build six new flats in Kirkcaldy have been lodged with Fife Council.
If approved, it would transform waste ground in Maria Street into a building of six two-bedroom flats.
The site was previously used for commercial premises.
The street sits close to Victoria Road and is a popular residential area.
Applicant, Kevin Wallace, wants approval from the local authority to clear the waste ground, remove a wall and build the properties.
Councillors will consider his application at a later date.
