Green light for new self-storage facility at Kirkcaldy industrial estate

Plans for a new self-storage facility in Kirkcaldy have been given the green light.

A planning application has been approved by Fife Council for the development at Robert Bell Joiners on Randolph Place in Randolph Industrial Estate.

It was lodged by Mr Stuart Williamson who wants to create the self-storage container facility, including the siting of a portable building, erection of fencing access gate and associated works.

A supporting statement, submitted as part of the application, said it would operate seven days a week from 6:00am to 10:00pm.

It added that the site will be secured and all activities “always be undertaken in a way that does not cause unnecessary disturbance to nearby businesses.”

Councillors approved the application this month.
