£20,000 funding secures free Sunday parking in Fife town
The move in Dunfermline comes after councillors agreed £19,500 of funding to encourage people to spend locally.
Free parking on Sundays will be made available in the city's car parks and on-street bays until February 14 to support local businesses during the ongoing coronavirus restrictions.

The City of Dunfermline Committee agreed on Tuesday to spend its £18,000 Fife Council allocation for parking projects on the scheme, sourcing a further £1,500 from the local area budget to cover remaining costs.
Susan Keenlyside, lead consultant on transport networks, told the committee an earlier run of free Sunday parking in the spring had been well received by local businesses.
"This year the aim is to support the town centre at this difficult time," she added.
