One of the most widely seen pieces of town art in Glenrothes is on the move.

‘The Heritage’, a series of totem poles which were created by original Glenrothes town artist David Harding in the 1970s, has to be switched to a new location to allow work to continue of the re-development of the town centre.

Kingdom Centre marketing manager, Anna Bluman, explained: “The totem poles are being moved from their current location at Falkland Gate to make way for the demolition of Glenrothes House.

“The artwork is being re-homed at a prominent position within Riverside Park.”
