Proposed bus timetable changes in Fife

The bus company is travelling across the county with an information bus to speak to customers about potential timetable changes affecting routes in the area.

Once confirmed, the changes would take place on August 15 and Stagecoach are inviting customers to provide their feedback on the suggested changes, either in person at one of the events, or by completing a feedback form online from tomorrow (Thursday, June 9), until Friday, June 24.

Events across Fife will be held at the following locations: Kirkcaldy Bus Station on Monday, June 13 from 9.30 - 11am; Leven Bus Station on the same date from 12.30 pm - 2pm and Glenrothes Bus Station on Thursday, June 16 from 2.30 pm - 4pm.

Local sessions will also take place at Burnside car park in Auchtermuchty on June 16 from 10-11am; outside the Co-op in Newburgh on the same date from 11.30am to 1pm and Cupar Crossgate on June 17 from 4-5.30pm.

Andrew Jarvis, managing director, Stagecoach East Scotland said: “During our extensive service reviews, we want to make sure the future network we offer is the best one possible for customers within the finite resources available within a continued fragile economy.

“The views of local people are very important to us, that is why we are currently consulting with our customers and stakeholders.”
