PUBS have been warned of the consequences of poor behaviour on their premises after a Leven bar was stripped of its license for seven days.

Councillors at Wednesday’s area committee meeting heard how the Blazers bar was forced to close temporarily last month after concerns were raised by the Kingdom’s licensing board.

Councillor Andrew Rodger, who is also chair of that board, told members that measures have been put in place at the pub.

He said: “Blazers was suspended for one week and has had CCTV put in plus other controls such as personnel changes made.

“These are the sort of controls that we have.

“We will not tolerate certain things going on in our licensed premises.”
