Public exhibition on flood risk in Newburgh

Fife Council is currently investigating the potential coastal flood and erosion risk to Newburgh.

And as part of their work the council is holding a public exhibition to explain the purpose of the study, provide a summary of the results of the assessment of coastal flood and erosion risks, and provide details of the options being considered to manage the Newburgh coastline in both the short and long term.

It will take place at the town’s Tayside Institute Community Centre on October 7 between 2pm and 8pm, when members of the project team will be on hand to answer queries about the future management of the Newburgh coastline.
