Rail strikes to hit Fife commuters from next week

A series of rail strikes will begin next week affecting trains running through Fife.

The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) has scheduled seven days of industrial action beginning on Tuesday (21 June).

Strikes will also take place on Thursday, June 23, Saturday, June 25, Sunday, June 26, Sunday, July 3, Sunday, July 10 and Sunday, July 17.

Services running from Edinburgh to the Fife Circle, Perth/Inverness and Dundee will all run on a reduced frequency from 7am-7pm on those days.
