Railway tragedy: Man found dead on tracks at Burntisland station

British Transport Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was found dead on the tracks at Burntisland railway station yesterday.

Officers were called to the station at 6.45pm on Sunday. Paramedics also attended, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are not treating the incident as suspicious.

A report is being prepared for the procurator fiscal.
