One of the world’s foremost golf artists, Joe Austen, hosted a special reception in St Andrews on Tuesday evening to mark the opening of the Tony Jacklin Ryder Cup Collection.

The collection will be housed in the Gallery of Champions, a permanent collection of oil painted portraits of golf’s greatest champions, past and present.

Located in the Macdonald Rusacks Hotel, the gallery pays tribute to the greats of golf in the heart of the Home of Golf including Jacklin, said to be the greatest Ryder Cup Captain of all time, as well as Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Roberto De Vicenzo, Sandy Lyle, Sir Bob Charles, Alastair Johnston, Peter Alliss, Butch Harman, Ian Baker Finch and Tom Weiskopf.
