A brave Glenrothes woman is taking to the the skies to raise money for the Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) unit.

Sam Schulz (30) has decided to take part in a tandem skydive over the skies of Auchterarder to raise much-needed funds for the unit.

Team leader at LCD, Sam isn’t as nervous as she thought she would be.

“I’ve never done a skydive before and it was one of the things that is on my bucket list. I’m feeling okay about it at the moment, but I think I will feel differently on the day”, she said.

“I’m glad it is a two person sky dive so there is someone to push me out of the plane!”

So far, Sam has raised close to £100 for the unit but she will soon be out with her sponsor forms.

She said: “I’ve got a Just Giving page set up and I just want to raise as much money as I can for the unit.

“Any amount that is raised will be put to good use either as an outing or other entertainment for the service users.”

Sam’s sky dive is on April 25. To support her, visit www.justgiving.com/owner-email/pleasesponsor/samantha-schulz
