One lucky Fifer could be a millionaire ...
The National Lottery has launched a search for the local who is a EuroMillions winner and may not even know it.
A resident in the Kingdom has the winning ticket but has yet to come forward and claim their prize.
As well as scooping £1 million, the owner of the ticket has also won a New Zealand adventure!
Every week Millionaire Maker guarantees to create two millionaires – one on Tuesday and one on Friday – but with the EuroMillions Mega Friday draw on June 24, five players won a guaranteed £1m.
One of the lucky winners from that draw bought their ticket in the Kingdom, but the person has still to come forward and claim their prize.
The search is now on to find the owner of the winning ticket and players in the area are being urged to check and double-check their unique code.
For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket.
The winning selection on Friday, June 24, for this prize was PPH 560296 and the lucky ticket-holder has until December 21, to claim their prize.
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“Thanks to EuroMillions Mega Friday, £1m plus a breathtaking New Zealand adventure would certainly be an amazing introduction to the millionaire lifestyle.
“We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding, so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.”
