Can life in Fife live up to life in a big city?
At least one resident in the Kingdom believes it can and, in a bid to prove it, she’s launched a new online blog to share her interesting finds and adventures in Fife.
A Fifer born-and-bred, Sarah Muir is excited to be back home after living in Edinburgh and London for the last 10 years.
Having moved away from her home in Leslie to go to university, she has many memories of growing up in the local area, but on returning to Markinch, she now plans to discover everything that makes Fife special and blog about her adventures along the way.
And the elements the 28-year-old is really keen to explore through her blog, ‘Postcard from Fife’, are the yummy food, music, festivals, pubs and all things vintage.
Sarah said: “I think we often take what’s on our doorstep for granted, so I started ‘Postcard from Fife’ to discover all the amazing things the Kingdom has to offer and to share my finds with other Fifers and visitors to the Kingdom.
“I’m delighted to see that others are already starting to share their favourite places and events through the website and social media pages, as we should celebrate what makes Fife unique.”
Sarah explained she’s keen to hear from businesses and event organisers who feel they offer the Kingdom something unique or quirky and would also like to share their finds.
She added: “I’d love to hear what other Fifers have discovered in the Kingdom and what they’d like me to be writing about.”
