The charity fund of both Rotary Clubs in St Andrews received a very generous boost with the presentation of a painting of the iconic 18th hole in St Andrews signed by all the players of the 2015 Open Golf Championship.
The R&A generously donated the painting to the St Andrews Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of St Andrews Kilrymont for their use in raising funds principally for local charities. The print was signed by all 156 competitors for the 144th Open Golf Championship played over The Old Course at St Andrews.
The Rotary Clubs were delighted to accept this extremely generous donation which was presented by Johnnie Cole-Hamilton, R&A executive director, championships. The aim is to raise a similar five figure sum by offering it for private sale, thereby maximising the potential value of this unique print.
