Around 170 golfers came to play last week and the event raised over £7150, taking the sisters’ total to date to over £17,000.
“The competition was split into two groups – gents and mixed/ladies teams,” said Jen, who is secretary-treasurer of the Leven Links Joint Committee . “We ran several on-course events with nearest the pin, longest drive, straightest drive and the great MND ‘putt-off’.
She added: “I’ve had loads of lovely emails from those who were playing. All seemed to have enjoyed the event and had a great day.” The sisters are holding an ’80s night in Aberdeen on May 29 and Jen is staging a race night on July 11 at Leven Thistle Golf Club.
