The Springsteen Sessions are heading back to Fife more than once in the coming months.
The Scottish band which celebrates the music of Bruce Springsteen makes its Alhambra Theatre debut on Friday., November 6 before then playing the more intimate Byre Theatre on the 20th.
And for fans of The Boss, there’s a third gig lined up at Rothes Halls next April.
The seven-piece band is one of only a handful of Springsteen-based acts around, and they take on the full songbook of the man from new Jersey in a two-hour plus set.
That means delivering epic E Street numbers such as ‘Jungleland’ and ‘Rosalita’ as well as ‘Born To Turn’ and his more recent work.
It’s a 25-song set which spans the decades Springsteen has been recording.
The band - all fans of The Boss and everything about E Street - has played a couple of gigs in Fife and has been keen to return for some time.
The Alhambra will be one the biggest venues they’ve played, but it’s a great setting for live music - and one for fans of The Boss to make the journey to west Fife to see.
The Byre Theatre offers a more up close and personal show - but both will feature the band’s full set.
The Springsteen Sessions emerged from Brilliant Disguise, a tribute band of musicians from Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Edinburgh, and has been kept busy with gigs across Scotland and England since 2013.
The band line up includes Dougie Robertson on vocals, Gary Johnston on drums, Cammy Maxwell on bass, Gavin Paterson on piano, Pete Clark on keyboards, Miami Pete on guitar, and Tom Brogan on saxophone and guitar.
Tickets for the Fife gigs available from the theatre box offices.
