St Leonards scholarships recognise excellence

St Leonards has recognised the outstanding achievements of its pupils with the announcement of the school’s annual scholarships. The new scholars were announced at assembly on Tuesday. Included for the first time scholarships for pipes and for drums, reflecting the success and popularity of the school’s pipe band.

A total of 20 students received awards for the excellence they have demonstrated in the fields of academia, art, drama, golf and sport.

Headmaster Dr Michael Carslaw, said, “The boys and girls deserve full credit for their outstanding achievements. I would encourage all our pupils to cherish their individual talents and to aspire to excellence.”
