Two St Andrews businesses have come together to provide a ‘stay local’ night out for the town’s residents.
The town’s New Picture House and neighbouring North Street bar Rascals are offering a film and a meal - for two - for just £25.
“It’s a saving of a third,” says Rascals’ Jamie Anderson, adding “There’s no point going to Dundee when you can support local businesses.”
The deal covers all of NPH’s three cinemas, with one or two exceptions, and Rascals menu up to and including their £10.95 range of burgers, and runs every evening plus the cinema’s weekend matinee.
It’s already proved popular - on its first weekend Rascals had to turn people away, so Jamie firmly recommends booking: “We recommend booking to avoid missing out in case we are fully booked,” Jamie added, reminding customers to tell staff when they book or on arrival that they want the cinema offer.
