Looking for a good lunchtime show? Try this one.

Ben Dali’s hour of hypnosis applies lots of fun to the art of persuading folk to act out of the ordinary.

He fills an empty stage with some 24 volunteers from the audience - no daftness, just a ‘‘come on up’ invite which sees folk swarming forward.

He leads them into a relaxed state of hypnosis and gently removes them one by one until he has his core group for the finale.

It’s a lot of folk to put on the stage, but Dali keeps it rolling along with plenty of humour before starting out - he creates a fun art class where they each have to draw different images of him, and a tribute to Strictly Come Dancing.

It’s a fun hour with the volunteers all acting in the strangest ways under hypnosis, without ever being humiliated in any way.

‘Strictly Come Trance’ is part of the free Frigne.
