Tales of Polish life planned

A Glenrothes playwright is hard at work on his latest script that aims to tell the story of Fife’s Polish community.

John Wilde grew up in Leslie after his family moved to the area in 1957 and has recently just returned to the area.

With his latest play, John hopes to tell the story of those Poles who stayed on after World War II and decided to make a life for themselves in Fife.

The playwright is now looking for members of Fife’s Polish community to get in touch so he can find out more about their stories and experiences.

John that the play is still in its early stages and is planned for completion in the autumn.

He is keen to talk to anyone who has memories or personal experiences from that period and can be contacted by email: jac51jac@yahoo.co.uk
