Two teens have been charged after a man was struck with a knife in Kennoway on Saturday night.
Police in Fife confirmed that two males aged 16 and 17 have been charged in connection with the incident that took place shortly after 11pm on Saturday.
During the incident, an 18-year-old male was seriously assaulted with a knife within the Halfields Court area of Kennoway.
Detective Sergeant James McGuinness said: “Shortly after 11pm on Saturday, Police Scotland responded to numerous calls from members of the public regarding a disturbance in the Halfields Court area of Kennoway.
“It was discovered that an 18-year-old male had suffered serious injuries as a result of having been struck by a knife.
“Although not life-threatening, the victim is still within hospital receiving treatment.
“Following an investigation, two individuals have been charged in connection with this incident.
“Despite this we are still making enquires to establish the involvements of other people who may have been involved and would appeal for any person with information and or who may have witnessed these events to contact the police on 101.”
