The Yard is holding a public meeting in Kirkcaldy to update the community on plans to establish a new adventure playground in town.
The Edinburgh-based charity, which provides vital play facilities to familes with disabled children, launched an appeal recently to find suitable premises for its new Fife venture.
Representatives from The Yard intend to talk about where the charity stands currently with its plans and would welcome input from the public as part of those discussions.
A spokesman said: “We are still looking for suitable premises in Kirkcaldy so if people have any ideas of buildings that we could use or share please either talk to us on the day or email us because we would love to hear from you.”
The charity requires a building with a good balance of indoor and outdoor space, with the potential to connect both areas, if they are not connected already.
The meeting takes place on Thursday, October 8 at 12.30pm at the Glebe Park Neighbourhood Centre.
Teas, coffees and a light lunch will be served. Please let the Yard know if you can make it by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 0131 476 4506.
