Thornton death '˜not suspicious'


The death of a 39-year old woman in Thornton is not being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.
An investigation was launched after her body was discovered at a house on Tuesday morning.
Police Scotland initially treated the death as ‘unexplained’ and a full enquiry was launched.

Hide AdIn an update today, a Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police in Glenrothes were called to an address in Donald Crescent, Thornton around 8am on Tuesday 14th February in relation to the death of a 39-year-old woman.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
