A NUMBER of top names are coming to the local area as this year’s Fifestock festival gets into full swing.
Tonight (Friday) it’s the turn of Scottish singer-songwriter JJ Gilmour at the Green Hotel, Kinross, whilst tomorrow night’s gig by the Mick Taylor Band is already sold out. Music fans can, however, catch Bowden and Williamson at The Inn at Lathones tomorrow evening.
Next Saturday, Mick Ralphs Blues Band take to the stage at the Green Hotel.
Ralphs, a founder of two iconic rock bands and still touring with both, takes time out to explore his blues, soul and funk roots. The Bad Company and Mott The Hoople guitarist will be joined by some of the best-known names on the current blues scene to play blues and R’n’B favourites.
On March 21, Ben Poole makes a return to the intimate Kinross venue while the much-awaited Gallagher and Lyle gigs take place on Friday, March 23, and Saturday, March 24, and are looking close to selling out.
