Traffic diverted after road collision in Kirkcaldy

Road users travelling between Kirkcaldy and Kinghorn experienced delays following an earlier road traffic collision.

The accident, which involved a Fiat Punto car and a motorbike, was reported to police at 3.35pm this afternoon (Friday).

Police and the Scottish Ambulance Service attended at the scene, and the motorcyclist was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, although it is not thought that the injuries are life-threatening.
