They will also carry out carriageway surfacing improvements which were postponed earlier this year in response to Scottish Government Covid-19 restrictions.

The teams will also carry out cleaning and CCTV surveying of the drainage system of the junction ahead of a road safety project scheduled to take place later this financial year.

The overnight project is scheduled to begin on Thursday and is scheduled to take place over two nights between 7.30pm and 6.30am, with work scheduled to be completed by 6.30am on Saturday.

The B969 will be closed during working hours and diversions put in place via Preston Roundabout and A911 Queensway.
