Work will start on March 15 and last for three weeks.

The project will involve upgrading the safety barrier system on the overbridge which carries the B9149 over the A92 between Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy.

The road over the bridge will be closed throughout the work. Motorists travelling eastbound will be diverted to Chapel Junction and westbound traffic diverted to Cowdenbeath Junction. The A92 main carriageway will remain open throughout.

Work is due to finish by April 2.
