Five overnight closures as work starts on Kincardine Bridge

Five overnight closures of the Kincardine Bridge are planned from Monday.

This will allow Transport Scotland’s operating company, BEAR Scotland, to upgrade decorative lanterns that light the footpath along the structure’s length.

The bridge will be closed from 8:00pm until 5:30am each night.

Traffic will be diverted via the neighbouring A876 Clackmannanshire Bridge.

The company said the Kincardine Bridge will remain open in both directions outwith these closures.
