Forth Road Bridge closure diverts traffic on to Queensferry Crossing
The Forth Road Bridge will be closed to traffic for several days next month.
All vehicles will be re-routed via the Queensferry Crossing between December 3-7 to allow concreting works associated with the installation of the new joints - and to reduce the risk of it cracking as a result of traffic vibration.
The west footway/cycleway on the bridge will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists.
