M90 roadworks: Junction closed overnight across weekend for repairs
A slip road off the M90 will be closed for three nights over this weekend as improvement work is carried out.
Junction 3 Halbeath (northbound) will be closed from 8:30pm until 6:00am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
A signed diversion route will be in place via the M90 northbound to Junction 4 Kelty, returning southbound to exit the M90 via the Junction 3 southbound off-slip.
This diversion will add just under an estimated ten minutes and seven miles to affected journeys.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s south east network manager, said: “These surfacing improvements will significantly improve safety and ride quality for motorists.
“It is essential for safety that we close the slip road. We have planned these works to take place overnight to minimise disruption.”He added: “We thank motorists in advance for their patience and encourage them to plan ahead by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
