M90 roadworks start this week

Motorists have been warned of roadworks on the M90

The north bound sliproad at Jct 2A will be closed from 8:00pm until 6:00am starting from tonight (Monday) until Friday.

This is to allow operating company, Amey, to carry out filter drain replacement works, re-install traffic loops and carry out lining and road stud replacement.

The works replace the planned closure of the M90 northbound Jct 1C to Jct 2 with its extended diversion route.

Traffic for the A92 eastbound will be diverted to the Crossgates Roundabout. via the M90 Junction 3 northbound at Halbeath

Physical distancing protocols, in line with Scottish Government guidance, will be in place to ensure all on-site personnel remain safe throughout the duration of the project.

Thorough risk assessments will be carried out and cleansing stations will be implemented on site.
