Police probe crash mystery as driver not in car
Police are on the hunt for the driver of a car which crashed during the early hours of this morning.
Police arrived to the scene to find that the vehicle had been involved in a collision but the driver was not on the scene of the incident on Newton Road in Falkland.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called at around 12.15am this morning following reports of a one-vehicle road crash on Newton Road in Falkland.
“On police arrival there was no driver of the vehicle, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
