Section of A92 completely closed after overnight crash

A busy part of the A92 remains closed in both directions this morning following a crash.

The section from Redhouse Roundabout on the outskirts of Kirkcaldy to Bankhead Roundabout at Glenrothes is closed north and south.

All traffic is being diverted through Thornton which is said to be very busy.

It comes after an overnight accident.

Traffic Scotland said recovery work was underway , but was likely to take some time.
