Temporary traffic lights on major Fife road for eight weeks

Temporary traffic lights will be operating on and off for eight weeks while work is carried out on a bridge.

Phase 1 of the concrete repair works to the A91 New Bridge, in Guardbridge, are nearly finished.

To allow the scaffold system and protective barriers to be removed safely, off-peak traffic lights will be in place on programmed days to help minimise congestion.

Traffic lights will only be used when necessary and only between 9.30am-3.30pm to try to minimise disruption at peak times. Lights will be in place on and off, for eight weeks, from February 24.

To help commuters plan their journeys, Fife Council will provide weekly updates on when the traffic lights will be operating.
