TRIBUTES have been paid to a Methil woman who was killed in a car accident on Saturday afternoon.
Melissa Harris died after her orange Fiat was involved in an accident with a white Ford Transit van on the B921 between Cardenden and Kinglassie.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 3.40pm on Saturday.
Melissa (21) was mother to three-year-old Dylan and lived in Methil with her fiancé Ryan.
In tribute to their daughter, parents Eddy and Mary said: “She was a good hearted girl and was a loving, caring and patient mother who will be sadly missed by us, her brothers, sisters, fiance, son, nephew and whole family.”
The road was closed for around five hours to allow officers to clear debris and carry out their investigations.
Numerous floral tributes have been placed at the scene.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have seen the accident or been in the area at the time to contact them on 0845 600 5702.
