The Post Office has launched a public consultation on plans to open an outreach service at the Scottish Deer Centre to replace Bow of Fife Post Office, which closed in 2013.

The service would be situated within the Woollen Mill outlet and would be open for two hours a week on Thursday afternoons.

The same range of Post Office products and services would be available from the hosted outreach service, with the addition of DVLA facilities.

This service would be operated by the postmaster from Leuchars Post Office.

The consultation closes on March 5 and submissions can be made by Freepost YOUR COMMENTS to Post Office Ltd, via email to, or via the customer helpline on 08457 22 33 44 or Textphone 08457 22 33 55.

Suzanne Richardson, Post Office regional manager, said: “We understand how important having a Post Office is to residents in Cupar and we are confident this new Post Office service will meet the needs of the local community.”
