Pupils from Warout Primary School put their best foot forward in a unique fundraising effort in aid of cancer charity Macmillan and the Maggie’s Centre on Friday, September 25.
Taking part in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, the children designed some fabulously bright and inventive shoes which were on show during the event.
Donning their new designs, the children then tested their creations on the catwalk in a funky fashion show.
To see more of the vibrant designs, watch a slideshow of the Big Coffee morning’s activities below.
The event raised £286.72 for Maggie’s and £567.25 for Macmillan.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. People all over the UK host events and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. Last year the charity raised £25 million from the initiative.
