In Kirkcaldy, temperatures are set to peak at 17 degrees with a forecast of sunny intervals, but cloudy by evening.

Sunday will be 14 degrees, and the sunny intervals will be replaced by cloudy conditions by late morning.

Glenrothes is set to be cloudy on Saturday with temperatures around 16 degrees, while on Sunday it will 18 degrees with sunny intervals.

It’s a similar picture in St Andrews where Sunday won’t get much warmer than 13 degrees with sunny intervals in the afternoon.

In the west, Dunfermline will have sunny intervals and cloud, with temperatures between 16 and 17 degrees.

Next week is set to get off to a wet start with rain forecast for Monday.
