West Fife police on the hunt for cigarettes thief

Police in South West Fife Villages are investigating a break-in at the Co-op in High Valleyfield.

The premises in Chapel Street, High Valleyfield, were broken into around 3.45am on Saturday, 3 December.

Detective Sergeant Chris Mill who is coordinating the investigation, said: “Thieves broke into the shop and went on to steal around £4000 worth of goods, mainly cigarettes. I would ask anybody with information about this break-in to contact Fife Police on 0845 600 5702 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where all calls are treated anonymously and you may receive a reward.”
