Woman cut free from vehicle after accident in Kirkcaldy

Emergency services attended a two vehicle collision on Park Road, Kirkcaldy yesterday afternoon (November 17).

Scottish Fire and Rescue (SFRS), Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service were called to the crash around 3.15pm, which involved a Vauxhall Corse and white transit van.

On arrival, firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to remove the roof of the vehicle and safely remove one of the drivers, a female, who was trapped in her vehicle.

The casualty was passed into the care of Scottish Ambulance Service and taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
