Women convicted of murdering Liam Fee

Two women have been found guilty of the horrific murder of toddler Liam Fee.

Rachel Fee - also known as Trelfa - and her partner Nyomi Fee were found guilty of all charges against them at the High Court in Livingston today (Tuesday).

They had been on trial for seven weeks, and had denied murdering the toddler at a house near Glenrothes on March 22, 2014.

Rachel (31), and her 29-year-old partner Nyomi blamed his death on another young boy.

After retiring to consider their verdict on Friday, the jury returned today and found them guilty of a catalogue of assault, abuse and neglect of two young boys over more than two years and attempting to defeat the ends of justice by blaming Liam’s death on one of the children.
