There are still 10 weeks until Christmas, but Cupar’s SRUC Elmwood Campus wants to make sure your Christmas dinner is a cracker this year.
Amongst the new session of evening classes is a Christmas cookery night class starting on Tuesday (October 20), which will help new and experienced cooks make sure their Christmas dinner isn’t a turkey this year.
It’s just one of a host of classes offered by the college’s Hospitality and Professional Cookery team, which also features the opportunity to learn the art of Japanese cooking.
But if cooking your own Christmas meal sounds like too much effort, the college is also offering a taste of their own Christmas cooking in the Themes Training Restaurant.
Open for lunch and dinner bookings from between December 3 and 17, just some of the tasty treats on offer will include home-grown Elmwood garden beetroot gravlax, pan fried sea reared trout and of course traditional turkey with all the trimmings. The restaurant has a fully licenced bar.
