The charming collection brings eight Paddington adventures together in a suitcase-style case, making an affordable gift for younger readers.
Working headline: Eight Paddington picture books come in a suitcase and they’re now just £11.99
Paddington fans can pick up eight picture books in one rather charming gift set for £11.99 on Amazon, with the Paddington’s Suitcase collection currently reduced by 29% from its £16.99 RRP.
The Paddington’s Suitcase eight-book set brings together eight illustrated stories in a suitcase-style carry case, making it a particularly appealing option for children who love the famous bear and for parents looking for an affordable book gift.
Inside the Paddington book set are eight individual picture books featuring Paddington getting into his usual assortment of adventures. The collection includes Paddington and the Busy Day, Paddington and the Marmalade Maze, Paddington and the Tutti Frutti Rainbow and Paddington at the Fair.
There are also stories taking Paddington to the Palace and the Zoo, alongside Paddington Minds the House and Paddington the Artist.
What makes the Paddington’s Suitcase collection particularly giftable is the presentation. Rather than simply arriving as a stack of books, the eight titles are packaged together in a suitcase-style case, giving children something they can keep and use for storing their books afterwards.
Paddington has been entertaining generations of children since Michael Bond's first book, A Bear Called Paddington, was published in 1958. The character has since become one of the best-known figures in British children's literature, making a Paddington book set an easy choice for families looking to introduce younger readers to the classic stories.
And at £11.99, this is also a relatively inexpensive way to build up a child's bookshelf. The current price represents a £5 saving compared with the £16.99 RRP, bringing each of the eight books to roughly £1.50 if you divide the cost across the set.
The eight-book Paddington gift set could also work well for birthdays, Christmas or simply as a way of adding some new bedtime reading to a child's collection. The individual stories are short picture-book adventures, so they can be read separately rather than tackled as one longer book.
With eight stories, a reusable suitcase-style presentation and a current price of £11.99, the Paddington’s Suitcase book set is one to consider if you're looking for a children's gift that combines reading and a little extra novelty.
☀️ Summer may be fading, but this deal is scorching. The TOG24 Jacinda Women’s Supersoft Jersey Playsuit has plummeted from £50 to just £8, saving shoppers £42 in a huge 84% reduction.
💗 Made mainly from soft viscose and cotton, the bright pink playsuit features an elasticated drawstring waist, back-button fastening and two handy hip pockets. It’s an easy throw-on outfit for holidays, warm weekends or getting next summer’s wardrobe sorted ludicrously early.
⚠️ The catch? Only selected sizes are still available, and an £8 clearance price is unlikely to help them hang around. Check whether your size has survived here.
