Nostalgia: Children’s author comes to Kirkcaldy in 1977
Children’s author Dorothy Edwards met with keen young readers from Dunnikier and Kirkcaldy North primary schools at the town’s museum lecture room in 1977.
The English write was well known for her best-selling ‘My Naughty Little Sister’ series.
She read the stories ‘Sam’s Woollen Hat’ and ‘The Motorway Witch’ which she had written especially for the visit.
